At the Science of Learning Academy, we provide comprehensive, integrated interventions in language, reading, writing, spelling, math, and executive functioning to help students overcome learning challenges. Our eleven-hour-per-week program has shown three to four and a half years of academic growth in a single school year with our previous cohorts.
To qualify for the academy, students must be in at least third grade and two or more years behind their peers. Many of our students have an IEP (Individualized Education Program) in their public school, yet traditional services often fall short in bridging the academic gap.
Vanessa Sievewright, M.A., CCC-SLP, emphasizes the urgency of early and intensive intervention—because the longer learning challenges persist, the greater the risk of lifelong struggles with communication, literacy, executive functioning, and the foundational skills needed for success in adulthood.
At the Science of Learning Academy, we don’t just support students—we transform their learning journey and equip them for a self-actua;ized future where they have the skills they need to pursue their passions.
At The Science of Learning Academy, we don’t just provide intervention—we change the trajectory of a child’s future. Traditional school services often offer minimal support, leaving students with learning differences struggling to catch up. Our academy takes a targeted, science-based approach to language, literacy, math, and executive functioning, delivering intensive, research-backed interventions designed to close the gap—not just accommodate around the skills that remain difficult. With small group instruction, expert educators, and personalized learning plans, we empower students to build the skills and confidence they need to thrive academically. The longer learning challenges persist, the harder they are to overcome—but with the right intervention, your child can gain the tools for lifelong success.
